  One day we visited our grand mother in Walimada. There were all of family members. So we all decided to visit Horton Plains next day. Then we left at 8'o clock. We reached there by around 10. So we had our breakfast and started to walk through the plain.  Actually that was a amazing journey because that was my first time. There were lots moose and various insects. We visited world's end and Baker's fall. It was a great experience.  Then we came out at 5.30 p.m. Then we had our lunch. Some animals came closely to eat foods. But there was a notice to don't feed animals. After that we left to come back our home. 

                       Reading is a very useful hobby. It helps us to spend our leisure in a useful manner. We can improve our knowledge by reading. We read novels, short stories, magazines and newspapers. We also read books on various subjects. We can get pleasure by reading novels and short stories. We can learn good qualities of great person by reading their biographies. Books basically contain knowledge. So by reading we gain knowledge on variety of subjects. The best way to gain knowledge is by reading....

 Thesedays, home gardening is a very famous topic. Because of COVID pandemic, lots people start to grow vegetables, fruits etc. Now some of them are plunking their harvest also. I have also been starting home gardening and my family memebers helped me. Everyday I water plants early in the morning. I look after them as my eyes. Recently I could plunked my own harvest. We prepare our lunch using these vegetables. They were very tasty.☺ I think , home gardening is very good hobby because, we can get healthy food, we  can save money and earn aditional income also.

  My favourite sport is cricket. I love this sport very much.. In my life , I liked to watch batting of Sanath, Mahela and Sangakkara and bowling of Murali and Vass. Dasun Shanaka is the captain in present Sri Lanka cricket team. Sri Lankan cricket team is world famous. But these days, our national team has some problems. But i think under young captaincy, our team can be achieve our team's old position in world.  Both the young and the old like to watch cricket matches. It is not so easy to win a cricket match. All players have to do their parts well. I love this game from the bottom of my heart

        The word online is now ingrained in our lives. That's with the current covid 19 pandemic. Although people abroad are accustomed to living online, it is new to us in Sri Lanka. That new online life is an easy path for some while it is a difficult path for others. School children face a lot of difficulties due to this. Also many people are exposed to various obstacles due to online. But for business people online is a great way to get their work done. However my wish is to get rid of this online life and return to the beautiful life of the old habits 🙏

                 My favourite singer is Mrs. Sashika Nisansala. She is a most popular female singer in Sri Lanka. She was invited for hundreds of outdoor musical shows where she established as a popular singer in Sri Lanka. Some of her popular music vedio songs include " Oba esi piya nohela baluwa, Es deka pura, Chandra Payanna".                       She won the SLIM - Nielsen peoples award for the most popular female singer for record six consecutive years since 2016. She is currently on the judging panel of Sirasa Voice. She is a very humble artist. So I like her most. 

  "The ability to convey information to another effectively and efficiently"                             There are four main types of communication skills. There are speaking, listening, writing and reading. There are some barriers to communication skills. Language, semantics, personal interests, emotions are some of them. We have various skills in life. I can introduce dancing, announcing, cooking, crafting, it litteracy etc. as my skills that I have identified. I like to develop my skills for future. 

                The senkadagala perahara is a traditional annual festival held in Kandy Sri Lanka. The festival is organized by the temple of the tooth and four great temples. The most popular part of the Esala festival which begins on the Esala poya day is the perahara festival held in the month of Nikini. This festival has become a unique symbol of Sri Lanka. This is a buddhist festival with dancers, whip dancrs, upcountry dancers and various of the cultural dances. The festival concludes with the traditional Nikini fifteen day water cutting festival.
